- Both materials
when used between the seperate accomodation areas in catteries
or kennels, provide a hygenic but see through barrier to help
prevent the passing of disease between the residents.

- Acrylic (Perspex)
is a good all rounder and will not shatter like glass.
- Polycarbonate
has the advantage of being virtually unbreakable by impact in
the thicker sizes and flexible (able to take on curves) in the
thinner sizes.
- Both have reasonable
resistance to UV so can be used outdorrs for many years.
